The Chateau D'Esclimont offers a tranquil setting in a beautiful forest, providing a peaceful atmosphere. the elegant breakfast served at the restaurant is a delightful start to the day. the hotel is conveniently located near the picturesque cathedral, allowing guests to explore and appreciate the historical charm of the area. the view of the creek beside the chateau adds to the overall charm and relaxation of the stay.
The frayed rugs and dusty window coverings in some areas of the hotel detract from the overall ambiance and could benefit from renovation.

The service here was excellent, and I highly recommend dining at La Rochefoucauld just 100 feet away.

The Chateau is a beautiful and very rare example of an architecturally striking moated chateau, only an hour south of Paris. The staff was very accomodating, but the property felt sort of empty like the building overpowered the few guests staying there.

I had the most wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff was incredibly kind and attentive, always quick to respond to any request I had. The hotel is situated in a picturesque location, surrounded by nature and offering breathtaking views of the forest. The cleanliness of the hotel was impeccable, and the facilities provided were top-notch. The hotel also offers convenient parking options, which made it easy for me to explore the area at my own pace. Additionally, the restaurant served delicious food, with the breakfast being particularly elegant. All of these factors combined made this one of the best castle experiences I've had.
All good.

I stayed at the Chatueu L'esclimont as it was ideal location outside Paris and for meeting with a friend for dinner in a classical environment. The staff were very helpful and courteous, and all my requirements were well met and exceeded. I will be back!
i would have liked at breakfast, that i would be at least served with the coffee!

Having stayed there some time ago, we were pleased to reserve a room again, on our way to the south from the uk. The rooms are still good, and the hotel is still in the 'luxury' league. The restaurant is good, and the food and wine list excellent.
The hotel was quite busy, and the staff looked a little stressed out. There was a fashion photo shoot going on in the grounds meaning that parts of the grounds were off limits for guests ? On reflection, we think the service didn't justify the cost of the room which was in a block quite far from the main hotel. Ok if the sun is shining but if it rains, and it did the night we arrived, getting across to the hotel for dinner was a dilema walking across wet chalky paths, especially for ladies in expensive shoes !

The hotel offered luxurious amenities such as a stunning restaurant and lounge area. the private facilities were exclusive and well-maintained. the friendly service staff provided excellent service throughout my stay. the hotel's location advantages were outstanding, with picturesque views of the surrounding woodland.
The room's bedsheets left something to be desired, lacking the opulent feel of the other room advantages. the minor issue did not detract from my luxurious experience at this hotel.

I loved the grounds overall. The chateau is breathtaking and being fall, the color of the leaves was incredible. I didn't know which way to look. There was so much beauty around me.
I read all the reviews before our stay and I wasn't expecting perfection when we got there. However, It was just as I had expected and hoped. Staying almost anywhere in Europe cannot be compared to the quality of service in the US and if you have realistic expectations, you won't be disappointed. Yes, it needs to be updated but that didn't affect our experience in any way. We loved it and would stay there again in a heartbeat.
